Monocle recently published its Quality of Life Survey 2014 (via Pricetags / NYT), with Copenhagen, Tokyo and Melbourne on top of the list of the world’s 25 most livable cities. Vienna ranked 6th and Vancouver, as North America’s most livable city, ranked 15th.
In a short, animated video with the full ranking, Monocle comments on Vienna: “Few cities in Central Europe are undergoing such a radical transformation. Among its ventures are new neighbourhoods, a thought-out housing policy and more pedestrianization.”
In another short video, Monocle takes a cinematic look at this year’s top cities: Copenhagen at number one, Tokyo as the top Asian city and Vancouver leading the way in North America as “a city with a compact Downtown and a strong sense of community, nestled in the Pacific Northwest wilderness with mountains and ocean at its doorstep.”
